This animation, created in Adobe After Effects, captures the essence of Secret Invasion through a typographic approach. The typography is intentionally manipulated to reflect the show's core theme—alien shapeshifters secretly replacing superheroes over time. Each design choice reinforces the feeling of deception and transformation central to the story.
This animated short tells the true-to-life story of Onion, a cat obsessed with running water. Animated frame-by-frame, this project deepened my understanding and appreciation of animation, all within the challenge of creating a compelling story in under a minute.
This animation was created using a three-step process. The base animation was first designed digitally, then separated into contact sheets for each color. These sheets were printed on a risograph printer using two colors, scanned, and finally reassembled in Adobe After Effects to produce the final animation.
